Lauren Bruggemans

Lauren Bruggemans serves as the Director of Sustainability & Community Engagement at Visit Greater Palm Springs, focusing on promoting sustainability and equity in the Coachella Valley. In addition to this role, Lauren is an Adjunct Faculty Member at California State University-San Bernardino, where course development in Customer Relationship Management is a key responsibility. Previous experience includes working as a Zero Waste Outreach Consultant for Ruth Abbe & Associates and as Chief Executive Officer for We are One United Inc., a social enterprise. Lauren's significant contributions to workforce development and sustainability were highlighted during tenure as Executive Director of the Sumba Hospitality Foundation, recognized by the United Nations for excellence in tourism innovation. Other past roles encompassed food and beverage management and event operations, complemented by academic credentials from The London School of Economics and UC San Diego.
