Stacey Smith Cmp

Stacey Smith, CMP, serves as the Director of the Visitor Center and Office Operations at Visit KC since November 2021, previously holding the position of Community Engagement and Visitor Center Manager. Prior to this, Stacey was the Events and Community Engagement Manager at Hope House from July to November 2021 and accumulated extensive experience as a Meeting Planner/Sourcing Specialist at ONYX Meetings and Events from 2004 to 2020, where contract negotiations for approximately 500 meetings were achieved while working exclusively with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries. Additional roles include Meeting Planner for Applebee’s International, Board Member at Teneo Hospitality Group, Advisory Council Member for InterContinental Hotels Group, and Event Manager at Sprint from 1999 to 2004, where event management and sponsorship execution were key responsibilities. Early career experience includes independent meeting planning, providing comprehensive meeting management services to a diverse client base.
