Austin McCarley

Austin McCarley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations management and employee engagement. Since November 2020, McCarley has served as the Director of Operations and Employee Engagement for Visit Knoxville, the official Convention and Visitors Bureau for the area, where the focus is on promoting the local community. In addition to this role, McCarley is the Founder of Knoxville Music, contributing to the local music scene since November 2022. Previously, McCarley held the position of Operations Manager at the Change Center, supporting youth development from November 2018 to September 2020. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at I Love Juice Bar, LLC, and working in various capacities such as Student Ministry Resident at First Baptist Concord and Artist Relations Intern at Bandposters. McCarley began the professional journey as a Sales Associate at Gander Mountain. McCarley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2016, after graduating from Farragut High School in 2012.
