Ethan Blades

Ethan Blades has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ethan is currently working at Visit Philadelphia as the Senior Director of Marketing Operations, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Marketing Operations at the same company from February 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Visit Philadelphia, Ethan worked at Fame House, a division of Universal Music Group. Ethan held the role of Creative Services Director from August 2018 to July 2019 and Senior Manager of Creative Services from October 2017 to August 2018. At Fame House, they managed a team of graphic designers, developers, and video editors, executing music-related digital content, advertising campaigns, websites, and ecommerce stores. Ethan also worked with the Business Development team to identify and execute pitch opportunities for clients.

Prior to Fame House, Ethan worked at Urban Outfitters as a Creative Marketing Manager from February 2016 to October 2017. During their tenure, they spearheaded the rollout of a new Corporate Social Responsibility initiative and project-managed various global customer-facing campaigns.

Earlier in their career, Ethan worked at Community Design Collaborative as a Development Manager from January 2015 to August 2015, where they developed and implemented organizational marketing and fundraising strategies. Ethan also worked at ActionAIDS, where they held the roles of Senior Development Associate from December 2012 to January 2015 and Case Manager from March 2008 to December 2012. In these roles, they provided leadership support, managed donor relations, and supervised staff while also providing direct services to clients.

Ethan's work experience also includes an internship and crisis hotline volunteer position at Saratoga Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Center from October 2006 to June 2007.

Ethan Blades attended The Shipley School from 1997 to 2002. Ethan then pursued further education at Skidmore College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
