Keith McMenamin

Vice President of IT at Visit Philadelphia

Keith McMenamin has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Keith started their career as an Information Technology System Manager at A-C Reproduction, where they played a key role in building the company's technical infrastructure, resulting in rapid organizational growth and a profitable sale in 2006.

Keith then joined GREATER PHILADELPHIA TOURISM MARKETING CORP (GPTMC) as Director of Information Technology, where they worked from 2006 to 2013.

In 2011, Keith McMenamin took on the role of Adjunct Professor at Kaplan University, teaching courses in the Computer Support Technician program.

Since 2013, they have been with Visit Philadelphia, initially serving as Senior Director of Information Technology and currently holding the position of Vice President of IT. In this role, they have led initiatives to make IT a driving force in all aspects of the business, with a focus on cybersecurity.

Keith obtained a Certificate in Cyber Security from Penn State Great Valley in 2021. Keith also received a Certificate of Completion in Identity and Access Management from OKTA in the same year.

From 2016 to 2018, Keith completed courses in Cloud computing, Wordpress, and Contract Negotiation at Temple University.

In 2010, Keith earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Purdue Global.

In 2003, Keith received an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Specialized Technology from Katharine Gibbs School.

Additionally, Keith completed an Ironworking Apprenticeship Program at Local 401 Ironworkers from 1996 to 2000.

In terms of certifications, Keith obtained a Cyber Security certification from Penn State Great Valley in April 2022. Keith also achieved an Okta Certified Professional certification from Okta in November 2021. Keith holds a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE) certification from Microsoft, and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification, both obtained in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Furthermore, Keith possesses CompTIA A+ certification obtained in June 2002 and CompTIA Network+ certification obtained in February 2002 from CompTIA.
