Colleen Buchanan

Colleen Buchanan is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and event management sectors. Currently serving as Senior Sales Manager at Visit San Antonio since January 2017, Colleen collaborates with Corporate Citywide accounts exceeding 1,000 peak visits from various regions, including the Northeast, Midwest, and international markets. Previously, Colleen held the positions of National Sales Manager and Sales Manager, successfully partnering with diverse accounts ranging from 251-999 and 10-250 peak visitors in multiple regions. Prior roles include Destination Sales Manager, Destination Experience Manager at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, and Event Manager and Event Coordinator at the Alamodome. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
