Tyler Orwig

Tyler Orwig began their work experience as an Associate Director of Sales at Grand Hyatt Denver in 2003. Tyler then moved to Grand Hyatt San Antonio in 2006, where they served as an Associate Director of Sales until 2008. In 2008, Tyler joined Hyatt Regency Coral Gables as the Director of Sales & Marketing, a position they held until 2011. Tyler then transitioned to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City as the Director of Sales & Marketing from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Tyler joined Visit San Antonio as the Director of Sales, a role they held until 2021, when they were promoted to Senior Director of Destination Sales. Currently, Tyler holds the position of Vice President of Association and Tradeshow Sales at Visit San Antonio.

Tyler Orwig graduated from Penn State University in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. Before attending college, Tyler Orwig attended James I O'Neill High School, although the specific years of attendance are unknown.
