Troy Anderson has a diverse work experience in the sales and hospitality industry. Troy started their career in 2003 as a Sports Director and Cruise Director at Holland America Line. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Convention Sales Assistant at The Mirage. Troy then served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Siena & Arroyo Golf Clubs and Red Rock Country Club from 2006 to 2011. Troy worked as a National Sales Manager at Treasure Island from 2011 to 2012, and as a National Sales Manager at New York-New York Hotel & Casino in 2012. Troy joined Visit Seattle in 2013, starting as a National Account Director and eventually becoming the Director of Sales. In their current role, Troy manages the day-to-day activities of the Visit Seattle Convention Sales team and focuses on increasing convention and visitor business for the city and region.

Troy Anderson attended the University of Washington from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in International Business. During their time there, they focused on marketing, communications, and Japanese. Troy obtained a BA degree with a specialization in Business and International Marketing.
