Ruth Fitzgerald, CHSP, CHME has a long and successful career in sales and marketing, with experience in various industries including hospitality and destination marketing. Currently holding the position of Vice President of Sales at Visit Spokane, Ruth leads a team of industry professionals in selling the city as a destination. Prior to this role, Ruth also held directorial positions at Hotel RL Spokane at the Park and Red Lion Hotels Spokane WA. With a wealth of experience in account management and sales, Ruth has contributed to the regional prosperity through economic impact and delegate spending related to convention revenues.

Visit Spokane is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization which was developed in 1976 to create economic growth for Spokane County by marketing the region as a top-of-mind convention and visitor destination. Today, we have 25 full-time employees working in all facets of sales, marketing, group coordination and public relations. As a regional organization, Visit Spokane partners with travel suppliers throughout the Inland Northwest to market our destination. As the regional hub for shopping, entertainment and all forms of education, commerce and health care, Spokane is uniquely positioned to be the heart of our three state, two province region.
