Alex Kaptzan

Alex Kaptzan has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Alex started their career as a Sports Sales Manager at Doral Golf Resort and Spa in 1990. Alex then moved on to become a Sales Manager at Hilton Hotels Worldwide in 1994, where they worked until 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they served as a Senior Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Tampa before joining Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina as the Director of Sales in 2000. In 2006, they became the Senior Vice President of Convention Sales at Visit Tampa Bay, where they currently work.

From 1987 to 1989, Alex Kaptzan studied Hospitality Hotel and Restaurant Management at Florida International University, earning a Bachelor's degree.
