Cheryl George, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent position as the Director of Human Resources at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (VNH) starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Gann Academy from September 2019 to January 2022.

Cheryl's previous roles include being a Human Resources Manager at the Union of Concerned Scientists from July 2018 to September 2019, a Human Resources Partner from June 2017 to July 2018, and a Human Resources Representative from August 2015 to June 2017. Cheryl also held the position of HR Assistant and Departmental Coordinator for Academic Affairs at Framingham State University from January 2011 to July 2015.

Before entering the field of human resources, Cheryl worked as a Project Manager / Executive Administrative Assistant at The Peter G. Peterson Foundation from September 2008 to July 2010 and as a Contract Coordinator / Lease Administrator at Bear Stearns & Co. from August 2004 to September 2008. Cheryl began their career as a Case Manager and Substance Abuse Counselor at The Salvation Army, working at the Men's Homeless Shelter from September 1996 to August 1999 and later as a Case Manager in Social Services from August 1999 to August 2004.

Cheryl George, SHRM-SCP, has a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Framingham State University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Syracuse University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Clinton Community College. In addition to their educational qualifications, Cheryl also obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management in December 2018.
