Mary Skinas

Mary Skinas graduated from Long Beach High School in 1958, receiving a full nursing scholarship to Bellevue School of Nursing/NYU. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science from NYIT and a Master’s in Health Care Administration from Long Island University.

From 1962-1990, she was Nurse Manager of Pediatrics at Huntington Hospital and was Assistant Director of Nursing at Schneider’s Children Hospital and Southside Hospital. In the mid-90’s, Mary transitioned her career to the managed care insurance arena as a Case Manager for GHI and Emblem Health. Since 2010, she has been working at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York. She is an active member of the Long Island chapter of the Case Management Society of America and the Northport Chapter of St. Charles Auxiliary.
