Arjen Lans

Arjen Lans has extensive work experience in various roles within procurement and operations. Arjen started their career in 1997 as an Operational and Tactical Buyer at Faber Electronics bv, where they were responsible for managing the procurement process and supply chain for two major clients. Arjen also led a team focused on customer satisfaction and constraints. In 2000, they joined Intersil as an Initial Buyer, introducing new suppliers and technologies to development teams, leading price negotiations, and implementing a sourcing strategy. Later that year, in the same field, they worked as a Senior Buyer at Agere Systems, where they supervised a team and managed annual price negotiations with strategic suppliers, resulting in significant cost reductions. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Project Buyer at Van Dam M, responsible for contract management, supplier qualification in China, and coordinating outsourced logistics. Since 2006, they have been working at Vispero™ as the Director of Operations, overseeing a team and being responsible for the company's European operations, including planning, production, procurement, logistics, repairs, and service. Arjen also manages the budget for Vispero's global procurement organization.

Arjen Lans earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in the years 2020 to 2024. Prior to this, from 1995 to 1997, Arjen attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) where the degree obtained is not specified, but they studied Industrial Automation.
