Brittney D. currently serves as Principal in Residence at Vista College Prep, where contributions include leading disciplinary development sessions that resulted in a 17% reduction in suspension rates and creating curriculum roadmaps with 100% team buy-in. Previous experience includes a role as Middle School ELAR Teacher at Grand Prairie ISD, achieving a 7-point increase in 8th grade RLA STAAR passing scores and a 100% passing rate for English I EOC state exams. Brittney D. also spent nearly a decade at Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools, where as Middle School Principal, daily student attendance averaged 93%, and recruitment efforts grew the school population from 100 to 280. Brittney D. holds a Master of Arts in History and Political Science, a Master of Education in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision, and a Bachelor of Science in History from Texas Woman's University and Bethel University.
