Vista College Prep
Rachel Calabrese is an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics and instructional leadership. Currently serving as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher and Instructional Lead, as well as a Middle School Computer Science Teacher at Vista College Prep since July 2018, Rachel previously held the position of Grade Level Content Team Chair and Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Excel Academy Charter Schools from August 2015 to June 2018. Rachel also contributed as a Match Corps XI Tutor at Match Education from August 2014 to July 2015, and completed a student teaching experience at Esperero Canyon Middle School in January 2014. Early career experiences include roles as a Writing Tutor at Pima Community College and an Assistant Teacher at Triple R Childcare. Rachel holds a Master of Effective Teaching in Math Education from Charles Sposato Graduate School of Education and dual Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from the University of Arizona.
