Oliver Allen

Oliver Allen is a Software Engineer at Vista Entertainment Solutions since February 2019, leading full-stack development for a core product and contributing to the transition to a cloud platform. Previously, Oliver worked as a Software Developer and Research Scholarship Student at The University of Auckland, where the focus was on developing an educational website and enhancing Google's Blockly for teaching object-oriented programming. Experience also includes ownership of a garden maintenance business, internships at LeapThought NZ Ltd, ExportX, Applied Instrument Group, and DHI, where tasks ranged from creating government intranets to automating testing processes and performing software testing. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from The University of Auckland and has furthered studies at Queen Mary University of London.
