Erik H. Smith

Erik H. Smith is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in investment and operational roles. Currently serving as a Software Investor at Vista Equity Partners since 2024, Erik brings experience from Denali Growth Partners as an Associate from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, Erik honed financial acumen as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2019 to 2021. Erik's career began in the United States Air Force, where an Acquisition Officer role was held from 2014 to 2019. In addition to military service, Erik played professionally for the Boston Cannons from 2014 to 2017. An academic foundation in Systems Engineering Management was established with a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, completed in 2014.
