Dmitry Shkolnikov

Dmitry Shkolnikov has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the VP of Engineering and Chief of Staff at Vista Global, a global private aviation company. In this role, they work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to develop and execute a technology strategy to position the company as a leader in air mobility. Previously, Dmitry was the Director of Engineering at Wayfair, where they served as a Senior Engineering Manager. Dmitry also has experience as a Software Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at The Grommet, and as a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead at Trellis Inc. Prior to that, they held various positions in the financial and aerospace industries. Dmitry has a strong background in software development, talent management, and strategic planning.

Dmitry Shkolnikov obtained their MBA in Financial and Strategical Management from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they received their Master's degree in Computer Science and Space Ballistics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University from 1997 to 2003. Additionally, they have earned several certifications, including Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020, Professional Agile Leadership (PAL I) from Scrum.org in December 2019, Magento Developer Plus from Magento in July 2015, and Zend Certified PHP Engineer from Zend Technologies in April 2015.
