Jamie Crawford

Jamie Crawford has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They are currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Vista Higher Learning. Prior to this, they worked at Accruent as a Principal Consultant from January 2020 to August 2022, and as a Senior Implementation Consultant from October 2018 to January 2020. Before joining Accruent, Jamie was an Implementation Manager at Lucernex from November 2015 to October 2018. They also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Imperative Computing at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2015 to May 2015. Additionally, Jamie worked as a Research Assistant for Chronic Illness and the Web at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute - Carnegie Mellon University - School of Computer Science from May 2013 to December 2013. Prior to their career in technology, they served as a Restaurant Development System Administrator at Jack in the Box from July 2006 to May 2013.

Jamie completed a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science, starting in 2013 and graduating in 2015.

Prior to that, Jamie pursued non-degree post-undergraduate studies in Computer Science and User Interface Design at UC San Diego from 2003 to 2012.

In addition, Jamie also pursued non-degree post-undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Linguistics at San Diego City College from 2009 to 2011.

Jamie obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology and English from Tufts University, graduating from 1998 to 2002.

Apart from formal education, Jamie has obtained several certifications. In 2005, Jamie completed a Copyediting certification from the University of California, San Diego.
