Kim Nentwig

Vice President of Higher Education Sales & Marketing at Vista Higher Learning

Kim Nentwig has had extensive work experience in the education industry. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Sales Representative for Mayfield Publishing, where they successfully sold Humanities and Social Sciences textbooks and consistently exceeded their sales goals. In 1997, they were promoted to Senior Sales Representative, where they doubled their territory and achieved 115% of their sales goal. In 1999, they became a District Sales Manager, managing a team of sales reps across 12 states while continuing to work with accounts and improving channel sales.

In 2001, Kim joined McGraw-Hill Higher Education as a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest region. Kim was responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales reps, achieving outstanding sales performance and winning the Regional Manager of the Year award twice. Kim also worked as a Sr. Regional Sales Manager, overseeing a larger team and driving $78 million in annual sales. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Executive District Sales Manager, specializing in digital implementation and managing complex solutions for Tier 1 universities.

Additionally, in 2013, Kim worked as a Talent Acquisition/Recruiter for Words & Numbers, a digital educational start-up. Kim'srole involved recruiting for various positions and supporting the company's online courses and digital products.

Most recently, Kim Nentwig has been with Vista Higher Learning, starting as a Western Regional Sales Manager in 2013 and eventually becoming the Vice President of Higher Education Sales & Marketing in 2020. In their current role, they are responsible for defining and building the company's sales process and aligning the sales organization with the company's growth objectives. Kim emphasizes collaboration between sales, marketing, and account management to find solutions for customers and drive success.

Kim Nentwig completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Marketing at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1985 to 1989.
