Liz Mitropoulos

Liz Mitropoulos has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Liz started their career in 1981 as an Assistant Director of Human Resources at Bi-County Community Hospital. In 1985, they moved to Detroit Osteopathic Hospital, where they served as an Assistant Director of Human Resources until 1992. Liz then joined Michigan Health Care Corporation as a Human Resources Manager, and later transitioned to Aurora HealthCare, where they held the position of Director of Human Resources from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, they joined Starfish Family Services as the Director of Human Resources, where they stayed until 2017. During their time at Starfish, Liz also worked as a Human Resources Contractor from June to November 2017. Since November 2017, they have been serving as a Benefits Administrator at Vista Maria.

Liz Mitropoulos pursued their education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 1976 to 1980, where they achieved a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Public Administration. Liz furthered their academic endeavors at Central Michigan University from 1984 to 1987, obtaining a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) with a focus on Human Resources.
