Edmundo Defferrari has extensive work experience in project management in the oil and gas industry. Edmundo is currently working as a Project Manager at Vista Oil & Gas, where they lead a team in delivering high standard projects for oil and gas evacuation. Their responsibilities include continuously improving methods and technology to achieve low operating costs and sustainable development.
Prior to their current role, Edmundo worked as a Project Manager at Aleph Midstream, where they were responsible for managing projects from July 2019 to May 2020.
From 2018 to 2019, Edmundo was self-employed, providing private consultancy services for oil and gas and renewable energy projects. Edmundo also worked in agriculture and livestock production during this time.
Before their self-employment, Edmundo worked at AXION Energy as an Executive Project Manager from October 2016 to February 2018. Edmundo managed a team of 38 individuals and oversaw around 65 projects, including revamps of various facilities and the construction of a new effluent plant. The total budget for these projects was around 300 million USD.
Prior to AXION Energy, Edmundo worked at Total as a Precommissioning Lead for the Incahuasi Project from August 2015 to September 2016. Edmundo was responsible for preparing progress reports and executing pre-commissioning activities for gas processing plant facilities.
At Total, Edmundo also worked as a SURF Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Leader on the Martin Linge Project from October 2012 to August 2015. Edmundo oversaw the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for subsea equipment, umbilicals, flowlines, and risers.
Before joining Total, Edmundo worked at EDENERGY UK LTD as a Director and Founder from March 2008 to October 2011.
Edmundo also co-founded Bionerg and worked as a Director from January 2003 to July 2007. Edmundo was responsible for business development and execution during their time at Bionerg.
Edmundo's early work experience includes working as a Project Engineer and Methods Engineer at Total Austral from January 2001 to August 2004.
Edmundo Defferrari has a comprehensive education history. Edmundo started their education journey at Humboldt, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from 1984 to 1994. After completing their undergraduate studies, Edmundo continued their education at Universidad Catolica Argentina, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from 1996 to 2001. During the same period, they also attended Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires', where they further specialized in Industrial Engineering and graduated as an Industrial Engineer.

Some of these certifications include Valid BOSIET Norge offshore survival in 2014, Risk and Human factor certification from SOTS in 2013, Working safely at heights, risk of scaffolding and lifting & handling operations certification from SOTS (STAVANGER OFFSHORE COLLEGE) in 2013, Basic safety training performed in January 2014, Defensive driving courses completed over a span of fifteen years, Electrical risks, risk prevention related to industrial gases & radiation protection in construction sites certification from SOTS, and Risk Analyses in construction and HAZOP methods certification from SOTS. Edmundo has also completed various other certifications, such as the Exploration and Production RSES-GSES on Sites from TOTAL, PMI Project management from the Project Management Institute, RVK in-depth Focus on Developments Projects and Modifications, RVK in-depth Focus on operation and Maintenance Course, Valid T-BOSIET done in Korea expiring in 2016, Valid offshore medical certificate expiring in 2018, and Work in confined spaces certification from SOTS.
