Matias Weissel

Matias Weissel has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Matias worked for Vista as an Operations Manager starting in 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles at YPF, including Unconventional Projects Manager, Unconventional Factory Process Manager, Loma Campana Project Leader, Project evaluation-optimization Leader, Production Engineer, and Reservoir Operative Engineer. At Repsol YPF, Matias worked as a Management Control intern and Planning intern in the E&P department. Matias also had a summer job at SC Johnson. Overall, Matias has extensive experience in operations management, project leadership, production optimization, and reservoir engineering.

Matias Weissel completed their primary and secondary education at Colegio San Cirano from 1990 to 2003. In 2004, they enrolled at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering. Matias completed their studies in this field in 2009. Additionally, in 2001, they attended a Summer Language Course at Bell Saffron Walden, United Kingdom.
