James Murphy

James Murphy has extensive experience in the security and law enforcement sectors, serving in various capacities for over two decades. Currently, James holds a position as an Armed Security professional at Vista Security Group since July 2021 and simultaneously oversees training as the Director of Training at Criminal Justice Professionals Training and Consulting, LLC. James has previously served as a Site Coordinator at Buffalo Protection & Investigation, as an Instructor at Peace Officer Training Academy, and as a Supervisor at Executive Investigation & Security. James also contributed to Erie County Central Police Services as a Certified SAFIS Latent Print Examiner and held administrative roles at Canisius College and Kaleida Health. In addition, James held the position of President for the Crime Prevention Association of Western New York, focusing on enhancing community crime prevention efforts. James’s education includes a certificate in Fundamentals of Public Relations from Canisius University and a high school diploma with a college preparatory track.
