Vernon Beaty

Vernon Beaty is an experienced law enforcement professional with a diverse background in security and public safety. Currently serving as an Event Supervisor at Vista Security Group since July 2021, Vernon also holds the position of Coordinator of College Safety at Erie Community College, overseeing daily operations of the campus police department and supervising training efforts. With a tenure at Erie County Central Police since March 1994 as a police trainer, Vernon specializes in training new recruits in various critical areas. Previous roles include Site Supervisor at Buffalo Protection Investigation and extensive service with Buffalo Police Department, where Vernon held multiple ranks, including SWAT Commander, operator, and police trainer, focusing on specialized tactical operations and community engagement initiatives such as the DARE program.
