Shawn T. Loescher

Shawn T. Loescher, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for the Vista Unified School District, focusing on sustainable systems development and district operations. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Shawn previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Urban Discovery Schools, where an inner-city P/K-12 school system was developed. Additional roles include Executive Director of Accountability & Educational Innovation at Alvord Unified School District and Director of the Office of College, Career & Technical Education at San Diego Unified School District. Shawn's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Performance from Berklee College of Music, among other credentials.
