Rafiq Qasim

Rafiq Qasim currently holds the position of Head of Maintenance Operations Centre at VistaJet, a role started in April 2023, while also serving as Maintenance Operations Control Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Project Engineer and Airworthiness Operations Manager at AIR HAMBURG from May 2021 to April 2023, and as a Student Researcher at ZARM, contributing to the development of an Autonomous Re-usable Landing Rocket demonstrator between June 2022 and December 2023. Rafiq has also been involved in various engineering and analytical roles at organizations such as Atlas Air Service AG, the Civil Aviation Authority, and Joramco, with a focus on data analysis, control systems, and engineering design throughout a diverse range of internships. Rafiq holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bremen and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University.
