Shanna Warburton-Barnes

Shanna Warburton-Barnes has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Shanna began their career in education with Baltimore County Public Schools, where they worked as a First Grade Teacher and later as an Intervention Teacher. Shanna then joined Edison Schools as a Lead Teacher and later as a Primary Academic Coach. Shanna further advanced their career in education by joining Baltimore City Public Schools, where they held multiple roles including Staff Developer and District Mentor. In these positions, they provided support and professional development to teachers, helping them improve their teaching skills and achieve better outcomes for students. Shanna also worked as an Educational Associate for the Baltimore City Public School System before transitioning to a role as a Marketing Director at Vistant, formerly known as PM Consulting Group. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing marketing strategies and initiatives.

Shanna Warburton-Barnes earned their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Towson University from 1995 to 1999. Shanna then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in School Administration & Supervision from The Johns Hopkins University between 2007 and 2009.
