Julien Payan

Julien Payan is an experienced professional in the field of hardware architecture and electrical engineering, currently serving as the Electrification Global Chief Architect and Hardware Architect at Visteon Corporation since April 2012. Responsibilities include defining hardware architectures, component selection during RFQs, and supporting cost optimization throughout development. Additionally, Julien leads an electrical engineering team of up to nine members, overseeing annual reviews, career management, and technical training. Prior to Visteon, Julien worked at Johnson Controls from August 2002 to March 2012 as a Hardware Designer and Project Leader, focusing on the technical design and coordination of various hardware projects. Julien holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics, Measurements, and Instrumentation from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications, complemented by a foundational education at Lycée Saint Louis.
