Jesus Mena

Jesus Mena, Ph.D., is a Nonclinical Study Manager at Visterra Inc. since July 2022, with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and scientific research spanning nearly a decade at Biomodels, LLC, where roles included Regulatory Compliance Manager, IACUC Chair, and various scientist positions. Expertise includes leading studies in neuro-behavior, cancer supportive care, and oral mucositis, along with significant knowledge of AAALAC, OLAW, and USDA regulations. Prior experience encompasses a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center focused on molecular neuroscience and electrophysiology, as well as a doctoral dissertation in behavioral neuropharmacology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Academic credentials include dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Biology from Tufts University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
