James Hamet

James Hamet is the founder and CEO of Vistim Labs since September 2021. James also previously founded and served as a board member of LIT Conversations starting from July 2020. Prior to that, they were the founder and technology architect at Neurable from February 2016 to August 2020.

James Hamet has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan. James also has a graduate degree from the US National Center for Adaptive Neurotechnologies in Neurobiology and Neurosciences. Additionally, they hold a French Baccalaureate of Science with a Mathematics specialty, OIB, Honors from FASNY - French American School of New York. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Familiarity Training from AALAS in June 2019 and Protecting Human Research Participants (PHRP) Familiarity Training from the National Institutes of Health (NIH): Intramural Research Program (IRP) in October 2017.
