Ajay Walia

Ajay Walia has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ajay is currently working as a Principal Engineer Network-Security at Vistra Corp. Since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at HCL Technologies from 2011 to 2022, where they held various roles including Sr Consultant - Network and Sr Consultant - Network Operations.

Ajay also worked at Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) as a Technical Lead (Network-Security DC Operations) from 2010 to 2011. During this time, they were responsible for designing and implementing network and security services for the government's largest Biometric database.

Before joining UIDAI, Ajay had roles at Infinite Computer Solutions as an Assistant Manager from 2008 to 2010, and at IBM Global Services as a Senior Network Specialist from 2006 to 2008. At IBM, they were involved in network operations and led a team of engineers.

Earlier in their career, Ajay worked at SITA as a Field Support Engineer from 2004 to 2006, where they were responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of communication equipment at the New Delhi Airport Terminal. Ajay also worked at InKnowTech Pvt Ltd as a Network Engineer in 2004, and at Samtech Infonet Ltd as a Field Support Engineer from 2001 to 2004.

Ajay Walia completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operation Management from Shobhit University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation - University. Ajay has also obtained certifications as an Arista Cloud Engineer at the Level 2 from Arista Networks in December 2021.
