Alex Jones

Alex Jones is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in project management and software product management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for IT Applications at Vistra Corp. since November 2019, Alex previously held the role of IT Project Manager at Ambit Energy, where responsibilities included leading software delivery teams and managing project planning and execution. Prior tenure at GENBAND involved serving as a product owner and Scrum Master for a SaaS WebRTC gateway, focusing on documentation, requirements gathering, and agile methodologies. Alex began a career as a Financial Analyst at Mauldin Management LLC, enhancing financial oversight and revenue accounting. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed Advanced Spanish Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
