Ashton Ray

Ashton Ray, CLS, currently serves as a Simulator Test Engineer at Vistra Corp., a position held since March 2024. Previously, Ashton worked at Energy Harbor from March 2020 to March 2024 as a Licensed Nuclear Operations Training Instructor and Supervisor of Nuclear Field Operations. Prior experience includes roles as Supervisor of Nuclear Field Operations at FirstEnergy Solutions from July 2014 to March 2020 and various positions at FirstEnergy, including Work Week Manager, Operations Field Supervisor, Reactor Operator, and Plant Operator from 1998 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes working as a Production Mechanic at Clairol from 1996 to 1998 and serving as a Nuclear Operator in the US Navy from 1990 to 1995. Ashton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Technology from Excelsior University.
