Brett W. Kampwerth

Brett W. Kampwerth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy management and financial analysis. Currently serving as Director and Sr Trader/Mgr Dispatch at Vistra Corp. since April 2018, Brett has demonstrated expertise in optimizing energy bidding strategies and managing power positions at key facilities. Previously at Dynegy, Brett held roles including Manager Asset Management, where focus was on portfolio optimization and financial performance across multiple power plants, and Sr. Analyst Portfolio Optimization, providing critical analysis to executive leadership. Earlier experience includes managing coal operations at Ameren and analyzing mutual funds at Stifel Financial Corp., complemented by foundational roles in financial advising and operations coordination.
