Brian Strobel

Brian Strobel is an experienced nuclear operations professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Reactor Operator and Licensed Operator Requal Instructor at Vistra Corp. since March 2024, Brian previously held various key positions at FirstEnergy from December 2006 to March 2024, including Nuclear Shift Manager and Nuclear Unit Supervisor. Prior experience includes leadership as Vice President of Operations at Strobel Machine, Inc. and military service in the United States Navy as Chief Reactor Watch and Engineering Laboratory Technician from January 1993 to January 1999. Brian holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies from Duquesne University.
