Gabe Castro

Gabe Castro has an extensive work experience in the energy industry. Gabe is currently an Executive Board Member and National Board Member at the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDCHQ), where they have been serving since 2017. In 2020, they joined Vistra Corp. as the Sr. Vice President - P&L / General Manager for US Retail Business Markets.

Prior to that, Gabe had a long career at TXU Energy, starting in 1996 as an Account Manager and later holding various leadership positions. Gabe served as the Vice President Business - P&L/General Manager, where they led regional sales and support teams and was responsible for over $1.5 billion in business sales. Gabe also held roles such as Vice President - Large Commercial Industrial Business Development, Director - Small Medium Business Development, Director Government & Channel Sales, and Sales Alliance Manager.

Before joining TXU Energy, Gabe worked at eMEX S.A. de C.V. as a Gerenete de Comercializacion in Mexico City. Gabe also worked at Lone Star Pipeline as a Gas Transportation Representative.

Throughout their career, Gabe has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and achieved significant sales results.

Gabe Castro attended St. Mary's University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a BBA in Finance. Gabe'seducation history also includes studying at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, although specific details such as the degree and field of study are not available.
