Robert Drsek

Robert Drsek, P.E. currently serves as a Principal Nuclear Engineer at Vistra Corp., starting in March 2024. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Energy Harbor from February 2020 to March 2024, progressing through titles from Nuclear Engineer IV to Nuclear Engineer V, focusing on the Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) group. Robert gained extensive experience at FirstEnergy from May 2012 to February 2020, where responsibilities included titles of Nuclear Engineer IV, III, and II within the PRA group as well. During earlier career development, Robert contributed as a Professional Intern/Co-Op, creating a method for efficient walkdowns using iPads, which has expanded internationally. Initial work experience included a Cooperative Internship with The City of Wadsworth, developing a street rating method. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Business Minor from The University of Akron (2008-2013) and holds an Honors Diploma from Aurora High School (2004-2008).
