Scott A. Hudson

Scott A. Hudson is the current President of Retail at Vistra. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Background Screening Solutions at LexisNexis from January 2005 to November 2009. There, they led a $150 million global background screening division serving the employment, tenant and non-profit markets. Scott also had P&L responsibility and reporting control for all sales, relationship management, product development, customer service and administrative functions. Furthermore, they managed more than 350 employees in four regional offices including a national sales force of 80 strategic and mid-market sales professionals.

Hudson also has experience as a Division President and Southern Region Director at MBNA from January 1997 to December 2005. There, they managed relationships and loan portfolios of the largest affinity credit card programs in the southeast. Scott was also responsible for marketing, credit, pricing, loyalty and loss strategies for managed programs. Additionally, they oversaw a 1,100 person customer operations center, more than 150 partnerships and $6 billion loan portfolio. Some notable accomplishments during their time there include successfully managing the start-up of Southern Region headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia (Atlanta suburb), as well as closing down a major credit-card operations center over an eight-month period with minimal impact on morale or productivity.

Scott A. Hudson graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in history. Scott then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned their JD in law.
