James Frary

James Frary is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Senior Operating Partner at The Vistria Group since May 2022, James holds key positions such as Board Chairman at BioCare and AllyGPO, and Board Director at SCA Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, James was the Chief Executive Officer of US Acute Care Solutions from April 2018 to May 2022, leading the nation's premier physician-owned provider of integrated acute care that serves over nine million patients annually. James’s earlier tenure at AmerisourceBergen saw significant roles, including Executive Vice President and President, overseeing a $30 billion specialty pharmaceutical distribution business, and as Regional Vice President for the East, managing a $15 billion business unit. James began a career at Oliver Wyman, focusing on growth strategies and mergers. Academically, James holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.
