Kate Lefurgy

Kate LeFurgy is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public relations and marketing. Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Marketing at The Vistria Group, Kate has previously held prominent roles in the City of Chicago, including Director of Communications and Deputy Director of Communications in the Office of Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot. Additionally, Kate was the Chief Communications Officer for the Office of the City Clerk. Early career experiences include positions as an Associate at MDC Partners and ASGK Public Strategies. Kate earned a B.A. in International Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University and pursued further education at the University of Chicago from 2010 to 2012.
