Andriy Bakshalov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Andriy is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Visual Components starting from 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at F-Secure Corporation from August 2021 to March 2023, where they focused on designing and implementing security features for their internet security suite.
From June 2015 to July 2021, Andriy worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Trimble, where they contributed to the core development of Tekla Structures software, enhancing its 3D design capabilities for the steel industry.
In 2014, Andriy had two roles at Universitat de Lleida. As a Compiler Developer, they designed and implemented a compiler for whitebox cryptography. Andriy also worked as a Cryptography Researcher, creating an electronic voting system based on homomorphic recount of votes.
Lastly, Andriy started their career as a Software Engineer at GFT from 2013 to February 2014, during which they gained experience in programming with Cobol and wrote documentation for developed changes and features.
Andriy Bakshalov began their education by completing high school in Spain and Ukraine from 2007 to 2012. Andriy then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2013. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universitat de Lleida from 2010 to 2014. Recently, Andriy completed their Master's degree in Machine Learning, Big Data, IoT, and Cloud from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 2018 to 2019.
