Curt Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Curt started their career as an Area Sales Manager in the Men's department at Hecht's Department Stores/May Co. Curt then moved on to roles such as Merchandise Coordinator, Visual Project Coordinator, and Store Planner, where they were responsible for managing budgets, designing layouts, and communicating directives for multiple stores.
In 2005, Curt joined Marshall Field's as a Senior Store Planner, overseeing remodel projects and acting as a liaison for Macy's Corporate. Curt then transitioned to Macy's, where they held managerial positions in Store Planning, Design, and Construction. In these roles, they supervised direct reports, managed budgets, and implemented various projects, including new store openings, remodels, and vendor shop installations.
Following their tenure at Macy's, Curt joined CGI as a Partner/Manager in the Retail Practice. Curt was responsible for the development and management of retail projects. Curt later joined Claire's Accessories as the Director of Global Store Planning, where they focused on store planning initiatives.
Most recently, Curt worked at Visual Retailing LLC as the VP of Business Development, where they played a key role in developing new business opportunities for the company.
Throughout their career, Curt has showcased strong leadership skills, effective project management, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Curt Duncan attended North Carolina State University from 1984 to 1990 where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
