Dr. Karunakara Rai

Dr. Karunakara Rai is an esteemed academic with extensive experience in engineering education, currently serving as an Executive Council Member at Visvesvaraya Technological University since January 2023 and as a Professor at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology since October 2007. Dr. Rai earned a Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2014 and 2019, and holds an M.Tech. from the same institution, completed in 2009. Additionally, a PG Diploma in English Journalism was obtained from Bharathiya Vidya Bhavana in 2005, an MS from MAHE, Manipal, attained in 2001, and a BE in Electronics and Communication from Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology, which was completed in 1997.
