Jeffrey Byrne is an accomplished professional in the field of computer vision and technology, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Visym Labs since February 2020. Prior to this role, Jeffrey held significant positions at Systems & Technology Research from October 2013 to January 2020, where responsibilities included Vice President of Computer Vision and Principal Research Scientist. Earlier experiences include serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Scientific Systems Company, Inc. from September 2002 to May 2009, a Member of Technical Staff at Xpeed Networks from September 1998 to September 2001, and a Research Engineer at the CMU Robotics Institute from May 1995 to September 1998. Jeffrey holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a combined BS/MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
