Joe Whitlock

Joe W. has extensive experience in military and advisory roles, currently serving on the IKAR Global Advisory Board at IKAR Industries since April 2021. Previous positions include serving as the J5 Deputy Director for Global Policy and Partnerships on the Joint Staff, providing counsel to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and directing Army Protection (G-34) at HQDA. Joe's military career spans over three decades with various leadership roles, including Deputy Director at the Joint Staff, Deputy Director for Strategy, Policy, and Plans at NORAD-USNORTHCOM, and Executive Officer to the Chief of the Army Reserve. Joe's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and advanced degrees in Operations Research and Theater Operations, along with executive education from notable institutions such as UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.
