Matthew O'Connell

Matt O'Connell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and operations within the dental and education sectors. Currently serving as President of VITA North America since May 2015, O'Connell previously held senior roles including Vice President of Sales at Sonendo, Inc., and Vice President of Global Sales and EMEA Operations at Ormco, where successful strategies led to double-digit international growth. O'Connell's career began in education as an educator in Spain and a multilingual educator in the Los Angeles Unified School District, followed by community development work with the Peace Corps. O'Connell holds a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University.
