Matthew O'Connor

Matthew "Oki" O'Connor currently serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Scientific Affairs at Cyclarity Therapeutics since November 2019. O'Connor holds board membership at Longevity Biotech Fellowship and serves as a Senior Reviewer at VitaDAO, both positions starting in November 2022. O'Connor previously held several key roles at SENS Research Foundation, including Adjunct Investigator, Vice President of Research, and Head of Research, until February 2023. Additional experience includes advisory work at Less Death Inc. and organizing for UAW local 5810 at the University of California. O'Connor's postdoctoral research was conducted at UC Berkeley and Baylor College of Medicine, with a focus on telomere maintenance and DNA repair. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Baylor College of Medicine, an MS in Neuroscience from Northwestern University, and a BS in Natural Science from Shimer College.
