Shasha Yan

Shasha Yan is a seasoned entrepreneur and financial professional with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. As the Founder and CEO of an EdTech startup since 2018, Shasha Yan has led innovative initiatives in education technology. Earlier, Shasha Yan gained experience at Flatiron School in 2021, completing a Full Stack Software Engineering Program, and contributed to WeWork Labs, supporting early-stage startups from April 2018 to March 2020. Prior to these roles, Shasha Yan was involved with TechCrunch as a volunteer and hackathon participant, which included winning tickets to the Disrupt Conference in 2017. A background in corporate banking includes serving as a Relationship Manager at China Merchants Bank and as Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo, where Shasha Yan managed banking and corporate finance relationships while executing credit transactions. Shasha Yan began a career in finance with roles at Citigroup Smith Barney as an intern and has academic credentials including a BBA in Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
