Aaron Witham Ph.D., Bsc

Aaron Witham, PhD, BSc, is an accomplished Senior Scientist at Vital Bio, with extensive experience in academia and industry. Since 2008, Aaron has served as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Guelph, where responsibilities include curriculum development and delivering lectures for large student groups. Previous roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant involved significant work in nucleic acid chemistry and laboratory instruction. Prior to Vital Bio, Aaron worked at Elucid Labs as a Scientist in Bioanalytics and at Environmental Bio-detection Products Incorporated as a Product Development Scientist and Consultant, where contributions included grant-funded research for novel assays. Aaron holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Toxicology, both from the University of Guelph. Additionally, Aaron has a diverse background that includes musical performance as a percussionist and practical experience in golf course maintenance.
